Terms of Service

EdgeCV is an AI-powered CV builder and job-search service operated by Edgecv.io. The service allows users to create, edit, and export CVs, generate cover letters, track job applications, and access AI-assisted career tools.

You must be at least 16 years old to use EdgeCV. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials confidential, and use the service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

EdgeCV and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the platform, including software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of the content you upload (CVs, cover letters, and other personal documents).

EdgeCV uses third-party AI models to assist you in creating and improving your documents. AI-generated suggestions are provided for informational purposes only. EdgeCV does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before submitting it to employers.

EdgeCV offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance for the selected billing cycle (monthly or annual). All prices include applicable VAT for EU customers.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

If you are an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, unless you have already used the service. To exercise this right, contact us at legal@edgecv.io.

14-day statutory cooling-off period applies to new subscriptions under EU Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) Article 9.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EdgeCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of employment opportunities.

You may not use EdgeCV to submit false information to employers, impersonate others, scrape or automate access to the service, or engage in any unlawful activity.

You may delete your account at any time. EdgeCV may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for EU consumers: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
